The curvature radius of an aspherical lens continuously changes from the center to the edge with the change of the main optical axis,which can better correct spherical and chromatic aberration,thereby improving the quality of the lens spot.The lens is optimized to reduce the aberration to a large extent by adjusting the constant of the cone and aspherical coefficient.
The aspheric lenses due to the single-element design help greatly reduce the number of lenses in the optical system,as well as allowing optical component designers to use fewer optical components than traditional spherical components to correct image aberrations.The aspheric lenses are widely used in fields such as barcode scanning,laser collimation,and optical imaging.
